A huge thank you to the best-selling author Brian Gallagher who came to our school to talk to our 1Y students about his wonderful historical fiction books and creative writing. His latest book 'Resistance' is terrific and would make a fab present!


This visit was a great opportunity for our students to engage with historical fiction and the visit supports a cross curricular approach to reading for pleasure. (As part of our literacy targets, each student is encouraged to read at least 6 books during the academic year.) Read more...
