Aims of the library
- To support the curriculum and the individual pupil’s work
- To promote reading for pleasure and information
- To ensure that pupils participate in information skills programmes. This will enable them to become independent, resourceful and successful learners and researchers.
Opening Hours
Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5:00pm
Friday 8.30 -12.30pm, 1.10pm - 4.00pm

- Books & Audio books for loan - fiction and information
- Journals/Magazines - a selection covering topics of general & school-related interest
- Daily newspapers - The Irish Times & The Irish Independent
- Music library - sound recordings for loan or for listening in the library

- Curriculum Support Planners to ensure that the library holds relevant materials for your subject
- Current Awareness Reports to alert you that relevant material has arrived in the library

- Exclusive use of the library with your students for research classes
- How to guides and classes on: researching a project, compiling a bibliography etc.
- Separate staff library and working area in the library containing teaching resources &reading space
