Author Visit: Dave Rudden

The author, Dave Rudden, visited Mount Anville on 11 May 2022 to speak to our 1st and 2nd year students about his books and creative writing. Our students loved his exuberant performance, his effervescent personality and really enjoyed this event. He also gave some excellent creative writing tips to our budding authors.

Author Visit: Dave Rudden

The author, Dave Rudden, visited Mount Anville on 11 May 2022 to speak to our 1st and 2nd year students about his books and creative writing. Our students loved his exuberant performance, his effervescent personality and really enjoyed this event. He also gave some excellent creative writing tips to our budding authors.

Dave is the author of the award-winning trilogy ‘Knights of the Borrowed about a 13-year-old orphan, Denizen Hardwick, who turns out to have extraordinary magical powers. These books have received rave reviews and are loved by fans of Harry Potter, Skulduggery Pleasant and Artemis Fowl!

Dave has also written two anthologies of Doctor Who stories, ‘Twelve Angels Weeping’ and’ The Wintertime Paradox’.
